Salon of Excellence dedicated to Venetian artisans at the Italian Culture Institute in Belgrade, April 11-18

Opening of the Salon of Excellence event at the Italian Institute of Culture on April 11, celebrating International Made in Italy Day organized by the Italian Embassy in Belgrade and DeGorsi consulting

The curator of the exhibition was Jelena Vesić, adopted venetian, who during the round table discussion with the guests from Venice, with the moderator Alex Djordjevic, shed a light on the important topic such as “The future of manual work in the era of artificial intelligence AI”.

After the symposium, visitors met some of the world’s oldest brands and craftsmen in the Salon of Excellence exhibition area, such as Tessitura Bevilacqua handmade silk and velvet materials for the interior, Seguso – one of the most important glass manufacturers from the island of Murano, major producer of luxury perfumes Merchant of Venice, precious handmade lace by Martina Vidal from the island of Burano, traditional cloaks by Il Tabarro, and hand-stringed beads by Marisa Convento, as well as tailoring masterpieces works of Sartoria Puppato, of the great Italian elegance maestro Franco Puppato.
